FUNNIES
Pupils and parents at St Andrew's Primary School near Birmingham City's ground were left seething after their uniform was switched from blue to the claret of local rivals Aston Villa. Headteacher Alan Bamber insists the colour is bordeaux rather than claret.

The Football Association will meet later this week to decide what, if any, role England players' Wives and Girlfriends (WAGs) will play in future tournaments. Latest odds are 8-1 that contact between the WAGs and the players will be banned for two days before matches.
